Membership

Membership to KGS is exclusive

Membership in KGS is exclusive and operates on an invitation-only basis. Any current KGS member who has maintained good standing for at least two years has the privilege of proposing up to two invitees in a given year.

To be eligible for invitation, prospective members must meet specific criteria:

  1. Significant Contribution to Golf – They must have actively contributed to the sport through a leadership role within a golf club. This could be as a Greenkeeper, Captain, Chairman, Board Member, or any similar position that demonstrates commitment to advancing golf within the club and community.
  2. Commitment to KGS Events – Invitees must be willing to travel to participate in KGS fixtures, showcasing their dedication to the organization’s activities and fostering engagement within the golfing community.
  3. Reputation & Standing – They must hold a positive standing in society, reflecting integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to ethical conduct.
  4. Active Club Membership – They must currently be a member of a recognized golf club in Kenya, ensuring that they remain connected to the country’s golfing network.

These requirements ensure that KGS continues to uphold its standards, fostering a strong network of individuals who are not only passionate about golf but also contribute meaningfully to the sport’s development. Let me know if you’d like further refinements.
